Jacob Nordlinger is currently pursuing his master’s degree at the Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Julia Lichten. He has been a past winner of the Yonkers Philharmonic Concerto Competition, Wagner College Young Artist Competition as well as the Fuchs Chamber Music Competition. Recently, his string quartet won first prize in the Ruth Widder String Quartet Competition at Manhattan School of Music. Jacob has performed throughout New York in venues such as Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, Symphony Space, The National Arts Club as well as the United Nations. He has attended festivals such as Music Academy of the West, the Banff Centre and the Heifetz International Music Institute. Jacob has performed in masterclasses led by Richard Tunnicliffe, Gary Hoffman, Stephen Geber, Raphael Wallfisch and Bonnie Hampton and has studied chamber music with Peter Winograd Laurie Carney, Daniel Avshalomov and Sylvia Rosenberg. Jacob completed his Bachelor’s degree in 2015, also at Manhattan School of Music, studying with David Geber.
